The reason is i wanted to do something at the cottage and have to use cellular for internet.. So needed to know before getting a million dollars bill from cell providers

Iks uses very little data and will work on dial-up so speed is not an issue

If you watched TV for 8 hours a day you would use around 4mb per day.

Experiences will differ depending on providers. Tried to use a data stick at the cottage and while actual use should
have been low for the sausage stuffer seems the fine peeps running the fairly priced service combine actual data used
along with time connected for a confused and costly net fee based on what was favoured to them.
If you can access dial up, go for it.
And, don't leave the service running when not in use, becomes an excuse for those lovely carriers to invent fee structures.
That is for iks stuffers, streaming would likely be costly as hell. Don't have tv or computer, just reporting what my sausage
making comrads tell me. Let us know what your actual outcome is as inquiring minds need to know, lol.

My study shows that an IKS receiver on 24 hours a day, for a month straight, uses only about 150 mb.
Streaming on the other hand, for HD can be 1 gb per hour. So yes, could be over 700 gb per month.
