WEIRD Problem!!!

When I scan 110 then all of the channels come in with great signal and work perfectly. When I add 119 it knocks the signal and strength down on a lot of channels on 110. Any ideas what could be causing this? If I start over and rescan 110, then all of them work just fine again. But as soon as I add 119 then lose them again. I have done this several times. I have been just deleting channels and rescanning 110 when I want to watch something on 110. But I know that there is probably something simple that I am overlooking. I didn't mention. If I scan 119 first, then the channels that lose signal on 110 don't come in at all when I scan 110 (second). I hope that makes sense.

Maybe a faulty diseqc switch?

Are you locked onto the sat before scanning?

Use TP 12297 for 119 and TP 12224 for 110.

I guess it could be. But I bought it brand new!

Is it grounded?

Ungrounded systems, or poorly grounded systems can have weird problems, the coax shield needs to be properly grounded to work right, the 22 KHz Diseqc command signals can leak through an ungrounded systems coax and between switch ports and cause all sorts of problems.
