Android box problems

A friend of mine has a android box, when he open xbmc says (unable to connect to host) whats the problem about this one

a little more information please. Box name, make , model..........how is it hooked up Wifi, direct.....

Open settings and connect the wifi or Ethernet wait till its connected.

In setting wifi is connected, this is g box

set it up direct connect and see if that works. Sometimes the wifi will show not connected in settings with this box.

If hard wired make sure WiFi in settings is turned off and vice versa if running WiFi.
