can someone please link me to the latest working bin? i had to install the facoty bin after my stb got stuck on 8888 screen but now i canīt seem to locate the bin file.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

scratch that didn't work my box still stuck on a flashing SV logo. need help please.

Sounds like an internal problem...anything showing on display? You could shine a flashlight through the vent holes and see if you have any bulging caps on the power supply board.

I'm still stuck with a dead box just a flashing SV logo.
I checked the caps and the ps board as suggested above and everything seems to be fine, i also tried to do a force load of the factory bin with no luck, never got the "usbl" message on the front of the receiver just a bunch of random wierd mix of numbers and letters.
Is there a way to install the bin using the null cable? Is there some kind of loader for this model?
Any help would be appreciated.

can you be a little more specific please? what happened? my box was working flawlessly till my problem started about a week a go. Are you saying charlie caused my issue?
I did some search on the site and couldn't find a thing other than a super moderator saying SV boxes will only work for true fta, he didn't say why though.

All boxes That are SD will be DoorStops, only ones That are HD capable will still work

That is called "target fixation". A term that comes from pilots that fly into the ground while concentrating on the plane in front of them rather than on the situation around them.
