I agree that people's opinions are helpful to others, but always down is not accurate. I'm a long time subscriber to ultimate and it is not always down. It has issues just like any other server has. I have tried many servers over the years. They all have down time. This is the risk we take. With all the technology at our disposal we should all have a backup plan in case of outages.

I gotta say I am guilty of not reviewing.. There is a fine line here between bashing and a review and I fear i'll overstep. I have tried quite a few of the services here for iks (none for iptv). I have not tried ultimate as of yet and this post is some what helpful for the future but much more info is needed.
I have a sub for backup but rarely use it as north and south hardly go down at the same time. Thanks for the extra info on ultimate DJ, I am curious how is the response time for questions and customer service ?
So far what i can say in my experience, activa has been the worst for support and uptime. Lobo is a good service both support and uptime same goes for joe blow.. dzaster is friendly and quick to respond plus the uptime is very good compared to some others.
I am actively looking for another service and ultimate is on the list but I am watching this thread for other known members experiences .. if any.

Problem now is to how many are one and the same person giving the reviews.

I can say that I have been very happy with Ultimate. I realize it is down right now, and this is the longest outage I have had, but prior to this, it has ben the most stable service I have seen in a long time.
Problem now is to how many are one and the same person giving the reviews.
I hear ya snap..so true! .. That's why i said 'known member' .. a lot can be told about a member by looking at past posts ;) good reputations are hard to get but easy to lose. I just think any reviews are better than no reviews.. each reader can decide if the poster is credible.

If you say so...but not in my book...but it is buyer beware and one has to do their homework.

I am surprised you don't agree.. Yes its always buyer beware, its a hobby.. spend money at your own risk. It just makes the homework much much easier when there are a whole bunch of reviews to check out. Any logical person would also do their homework on the person posting the review as well but if no one posts anything ever then it only leaves trial and error for everyone which I suspect most of these scam artists and liars whom change names every month count on.
The more people speak up the less people get ripped off be it by false advertising, constant down time or leaving customers high and dry so to speak..
It's a risk either way and all hobby's cost money, this one is just so much more fun than most.. :D

I only have North running on my setup right now. Ultimate is generally very stable. It has had some issues, but the team over there seems to be on top of it and they are pretty good at giving updates on their home site. As far as customer service, I don't know how much customer service you get with any server. I can say my reseller is very quick on getting back to me if I ever have an issue.
I gave up on ultimate. They were great but they took a nose dive around spring time and haven't recovered.
