Just do an auto rescan. You may get double the channels so you will have to delete the obsolete channels. Even after rescan the channels won't come up until the provider does the same thing. Lots of transponder changes on 110.

How can I scan 110 if I am not getting a signal?

What type(s) of LNB(s) do you have, and any switch?

Some transponders are getting signal . You just see the one that has changed. Go to manual scan and go to tp 8 and you will see a signal. This is why I said do an auto scan. It will find all the tp's for you.

I think dish is moving some stuff around. I also lost most of 110 overnight. Keep on reading.
If you had the channels on 110 before, then not see re it is you.

Well that sucks. SD receivers are toast for 110W
So do I get an HD receiver or is this MPEG 4 something that will take 119 out also?
Thanxs for the info.

Have a dreamlink t4 and change tp8 to 21500 and went back to 20000 and no sig still. Do I have to do a system recovery and start all over? or does my reseller have to send me a new port with the change?

It would be easy if the box manufacturer would send an update with all the changes in TP's but you know that won't happen.
Just auto scan and the new channels will come in. You will have two sets of channels . Delete the ones with no signal.
The iks provider will have to make changes on their end before you see a picture.

There is a fix out if you are using Bin 27F. Anyone know if this fix would work if you're using Bin 25F?
Thanks for any reply. (This is for NFHD receiver)

There has been a schedule change for the full conversion of the 110 and 119 transponders.
On August 6 all 110 Transponders will convert to 8PSK.
On August 20 all 119 Transponder will convert to 8PSK.
Also, Transponder 16 on 110 and Transponder 14 on 110 will remain QPSK temporarily to support the Welcome Pack for Seasonal properties.

Would this mean that receivers that only receive standard def channels are pretty much garbage now?

For south yes. but if you are in the footprint for north then the sd receiver still has some life left in it. North has not planned any of the same changes as of yet.

Hmmm, brilliant move on their part to start a revitalization in receiver sales. I guess new companies will be popping up in the near future selling their HD boxes to get in on the action.

Not to sure of that. I live on northern edge of spotbeam 33 and had to rescan sat as many channels were also black. Just saying, not into an argument, lol.

I should add that auto scanning will only work with an HD box. Channels won't come in with an SD box or without an HD module. As I said even if you can scan the channels the iks provider must also do the change too or else they are black.

I am in Canada and have not had any issues at all. But my information is simply from public sources, it was announced early last year of the switch over from mpeg2 to mpeg4 for south sats. I am aware of no such information regarding the north sats. I have no insider information or anything of the sort. Just reading between the lines so to speak.

Gash was saying people stateside could hit the Bev birds if they are within the footprint. Nothing concerning 110 spotbeams at all

I don't believe so, with 24/25 you can't upload channel list without a full reboot, which then wipes out any changes. You have to get into the installation menu, and edit each transponder manually. Takes maybe 15 minutes to do.
