There have been some transponders changed to MPEG4 on 110W,
My Neighbours DLHD wasn't scanning them all and showed only 200 or so channels on 110, so went into Manual Scan and changed the frequency on all transponders that weren't working to 21.500 Ms/s symbol rate (note there is no indication that you can change this with selection arrows, so change that field to Orange with the up down controls and then type in 21500 with numeric keypad on remote) then go down to Tranmission (ya that's how they spell it) and select TURBO 8PSK.

That worked with the T5 as well.

Still scrambled but signal is back. Now its on the server end to update, if they can.

No it's not up to the server.

The new signal transmission is 21500 Ms/s. That much is correct but not Turbo 8PSK. It should be Turbo QPSK but that is not an available selection. Dreamlink programmers need to make that selection possible. Are those guys still around? If not, we will only have HD channels available to watch. Server guys will have to work on HD channels during ECM.

Its odd that the S&Q are strong with a lock on 110 once changes are made, and these are SD channels.

Oh well, wouldn't be the first time, thanks.

An auto scan will bring in all those channels without making any changes to settings. Still won't help as new scanned channels are black.

Bye bye porn 😀

Found that with the posters Dreamlink series, selecting 21500 BR and TURBO 8PSK, that does work, with the converted SD channels.

To check try channels 186 187 and 201 is the best test as it is a free channel.

Getting all those channels here along with all the rest on 110 that have changed over with a Dreamlink receiver...

most receivers will automatically update the Transponders ,very simple use your remote with the box on ,turn the receiver off using the remote you will see the clock wait a few seconds it will show a TP upgrade in progress then use the remote turn STB back on that's it No rescan is nessesary but can be done if you feel you need to

hi,
I tried the turbo 8psk option with the symbol rate changes but it does not work. I mean I see the 2 solid bars but both are red and the signal does not lock on 110. any ideas?

Yes it can first delete all your channels do not do a dystem recovery just delete the channel go to pid scan scroll down to symbol rate using the remote key pad change the symbol rate from 20.000 to 21.500 then scroll down to transmission and change it from DVBS QSKP to Turbo8 you should lock onto 110w then at the very top of the page in blue if is then scroll back up to frequency with the right arrow on the remote change it to (2) 12239 then delete use the yellow button on the remote and delete it leave it at (2) and the T/P will change delete it as well do that with all t/ps till it goes back to (1) and it won't change from (1) any more then exit out of there go to auto scan hit the red button and scan 110W then scan the rest of your sats

Changed the symbol rate on my Dreamlink T5 and the the Turbo 8PSK and worked great. Everything seems to be back. I also have a dreamlink V2 that it doesn't seem to work on. Am I SOL with this old V2? Is anyone aware of a cure for this old warrior?

Are these changes only for HD Units or they are applicable to Nano Premium SE or other SE Units?
