I had the exact same problem. I then started looking at different transponders. I noticed that some of the transponders were locking on the 110 and some weren't. So I did a scan and channels came in but I started getting many repeat channels and channels that were in the 4000s. Weird. So I would suggest going through individual transponders and see if you are getting 110 at all. If you do get 110 on some transponders you could do a manual scan but that would take forever.

I've changed some of these transponders to 21500 and 8PSK and FEC 2/3 and still don't get a signal. What now?

How do you know if your receiver is MPEG4 capable?
What I've also notice is that there are still some channels on 110 that is viewable without changing anything.

On FTA receivers you give blind scan and will only work if your device accepts MPEG4, FTA only new capable for MPEG4 models worked, some stb's where sold as originals but they was clones and where not MPEG4.
blind scan is for true fta.

Do you mean you are getting signal and strength or you getting a actual picture show?

Something, i don't understand....i have taken someone's advice and tried a factory reset.....now i have lost 119 as well as 110.......the part i don't get is 129 which is for hd has come in fine......on rescan....the settings stayed all the same....
So,,,from that point of view......something is wrong with the settings for 110 and 119.....it can't be just a few tps.....I am still not even getting a proper signal....its like the dishes aren't there........all the hardware was fine before 2 days ago....and 129 is still up..
If 129 works then all this talk about needing a new receiver can't be right....The T5 is hd......
Still need some help.......because 110 and now 119 won't scan.......?????????????????????????????????????
any ideas???

(@premeirelite) For the most part, if you have an hd fta box then it is an mpeg 4 capable receiver. You have to dig really far back to find an mpeg 2 hd receiver.
(@ rockman)Also, when 110 was scanned signal came in as well as picture and sound.
(@rh) what kind of receiver are you using?

Recheck your LNB settings, as a factory reset will erase your 22khz and Diseqc switch settings, and your 129 LNB may be on the default input, that's why it is still coming in.
As for the channels lost, it seems that the Dreamlinks will need a new bin file from manufacture if they are still around, to allow a TURBO QPSK setting or something like that, to view SD channels with a 21500 symbol rate. NOTE you can still watch the HD channels (which have been mpeg4 for a long time) with your current unit setup (HD module installed and working, of course).
Good Luck Testing

Which provider are you using that is up on 110 mpeg4 transponders?
Which provider are you using that is up on 110 mpeg4 transponders?
I just asked that same question in another thread. Providers have a bunch of switching to do and I am curious who is up already, i know the few I use are all still down on the updated channels so far..

try this..I tried this on my t5 and it worked for me got most of my channels back only waiting for ppv's
go to menu them manual scan, sat 110 and change the symbol rate from 20000 to 21500, the polarity to Vertical and change the transmission to turbo 8psk..and FEC to 2/3..this will only work on HD boxes.good luck

lol Chevy85, I've been at this since the weekend read all the info and disussions from a number of sites(cross references) tried every which way to load the new transponder list for 110 on the DL-T5-all it did was pmo!-lol- but after reading your post and imputing your list, I'm finally getting somewhere -my advice is to double check the list esp. the polarity of each transponder!

After you changed TP, you should have not re-scan. Follow CHEVY85 method and the receiver will work fine.
You can manually enter info of a missing channel and do a scan
