Making the switch from iks

With the current situation with iks south i am thinking about making the move to iptv. I was very happy with iks and
was fortunate enough to have experienced very little down time & very little freezing. I would just like some feedback from other members who have had iptv for a while, and if it is as reliable as iks was. Are ppv channels available? A few posts i have read concern me about slow streaming & bad freezing. I guess i am just being a little cautious & i hope after i get iptv i will say that i should have made the switch a long time ago. Any response to put my mind at ease will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
