Hard Drive unmounting?

I have several movies loaded on a few different thumb drives and I was wondering is there a safe way to un-mount them without trashing them. I have been turning off the mag254 to un-mount them and that's getting pretty old. Couldn't find any button on the remote to do so, maybe there's a short cut key combination? Thanks for any help.

I don't use this box but is there an eject button on the remote control ?

kijiji, no eject button on the remote that I can see and nothing on the unit itself. So maybe there is a button combination of some sort. I am going to go through the menu and see if I can find it.
