One of the best HD receivers ever made. I use mine on a daily basis. It's going to take a bunch of reading and even more patience on your part to revive the NFHD, but it will be well worth your while.

Search out and read up on Goo routers. You'll need to buy an old Linksys router, ($10-15 on FleaBay and make sure the Version of router is compatible....check the dd-wrt website) apply dd-wrt to it, customize the Command script and best results come from having the router hard wired to the STB.

This may sound like a lot of work but it's very rewarding in the end. Don't let any of this scare you, unless you're one of those "plug and play" people that only buys the receiver and expects to have pictures immediately. Just a little knowledge in the computer field and if you can follow instructions, then you'll be there.

Hell, I'm 62 and not 100% computer literate (but I do know a little bit) and if I can do this, anyone should be able to.

Give it a shot.

Let us know how you do.

P.S. I should add that the GOO router solution isn't the only way to bring back the NFHD. You can also use the N.O.I. program that requires your computer be running all the time. I used to use that but found it too glitchy. The router route is the best alternative.

Cheers!

Very true NFusion HD is a great box, I been using N.O.I for a few years.
Yes it can be glitchy and sometimes very confusing as to what to do to get it back to normal.
I have learned a lot, just have to be patient.
With all the changes right now we will have to learn again what to do next to get DN back again.
I find very little information on the forums about NFHD and how to bring DN back again.
Good luck

Good news
I use bin 24 on my NFHD in order to pick up South and North.
Just a while ago I went into menu for sat 110 and changed all the transponder settings from transponder 1-30
with the new settings for DN changes.
Luck, Luck my Sat 110 is back again like before.
No rescanning needed.

Transponders From 1-30 changed SR on all to 21500
DVB for all to TB 8PSK 2/3
Pilot AUTO
At this time within 5 seconds the signal strength and quality (blue and green) will appear.
Saved each transponder info one by one by scrolling down to OK and pressing OK on remote.
And saved again when asked upon exit.
It works great, no headaches.
Hope it helps other members

Menu chose sat 110
From 110 Antenna setup scroll down to TP list press OK on remote
next start with transponder 1 and change, press the green F2 button on the remote to edit.
under SR from 20000 to 21500
under DVB change with arrows left or right to TB 8PSK 2/3, Under pilot is always Auto. Next scroll down to OK, press ok button on your remote to save.
Then choose the second transponder and so on until you change all 30 transponders, when exit make sure to save.
If your pay server has done his job you should watch TV
I didn't even have to rescan
Good luck

I also watch the HD sat 129 that works. On the forums I couldn't get much info. about a cure except for; if you have a HD box you are good to go. Sats 110 and 119 are going to the 8 PSK and MPEG4, I thought I would check the settings on 129 and those settings work. so far so good.
