119 hasn't been changed yet so you will have to do that eventually

he was sending back a hole bunch..and had a new stock.he said new stock??..(store)isaw the pile he was sending back he had ..because of the update ? tps were there .when I scanned works great

Interesting as they haven't released a new file yet with the TP updates since 119 hasn't been done yet. I think they were working on an Auto TP update file yesterday.

Be nice if they finished it and got it out though.

that was the funny thing about it..had the transponders .but couldnt scan no signal and then they all started to light up and I hadn't done nothing..all in about 1hr///2--3pm

Ok I know for a fact that the 2.4 does not have an updated TP list nor does it update the TPs by itself.
You have to manually change them.
It will save the channel data and if you loaded one from the guy that sold it to you that might explain why your getting 110.

What sats are you looking at anyway?

I'm a little confused here myself...I have the 2.4 loaded and had to manually update the tp's on 110. As far as the 119 the only tp that had has issues for a while is 12428 from my read...it showed as no signal awhile back but if you change over to 21500 etc. you will get the Q & S back but still has no picture. Of coarse there could be others I really haven't did a good look see but that is the only one on 119 that I aware of.

Word on the street is they are coming out with one but no time line so far. :thumbsup:

The only thing I can think of he got a channel data file from his retailer that had the changes. But if he installed 2.4 over that it would have wiped his data and server info like it did ours. Then he must have reloaded the data file.

I just did all this today to make sure it did what it says it would do and it does save the TP settings that I had changed.

I posted a channel list a few days back with the changes on the 110 so I guess it's possible the reseller loaded it on the unit prior to. :noidea:

my box came in box and I loaded 240..tps were there...he told me it was new stock/he was sending back all the other one //old stock of box...that's what he told me

Re read my post you quoted...the one I was referring to was 12428 on 119 being down at the moment...not 12428 on 110...that one is up.
