Hello. I have a Viewsat 9000HD. I cannot get any HD channels. Am I missing something? HD channels are scanned, and the quality and signal are good. I read another thread asking if HD is turned on under menu. I don't see anything like that. Any advice ? Thanks.

I don't have that channel. I have 9415 then 9595. I found the 'ext tuner' under option. It says off, but i cannot move to it to select 'on'. Is my 9000HD missing something when I bought it ????

Should be more accurately called the add-on Turbo 8PSK board. This box is already HD capable & can handle MPEG4 compression. What it can't do is receive any signal modulated with Turbo 8PSK, hence the need for the module.

Yeah.... I dissected the receiver. No 8psk module. Just bought one on ebay. Hopefully all will be well after the installation.
