Kodi and paid services?

Do paid servers for iptv work with kodi? Before bashing... the only live stream addon i can use at this point is iptvstalker client. The simple client I can not get to work for the life of me. Would i be able to use stalker add-on and just change the settings? Do any services have a trial at this point? Im new to iptv but have been around the testing community for a long time. This new stuff if just really confusing. Most threads I see are before the stalker free trial ended.
