This is going to find it way into all of my Christmas Baskets this year....I will put them into Mason Jars..and wrap with a ribbon..anyone wanting a basket send your request via Santa....

This was the easiest liquor that I have made to date. I will no longer be purchasing the expensive bottle of Bailey’s, but instead making it as we need it. It is NOT shelf stable, but will keep in your fridge up to 2 months.

Comparing the cost to purchasing it vs. making it? A HUGE savings. Basically, you are getting 2 bottles of Bailey’s for the price of 1. But the proof is much higher, because the homemade stuff has more Irish Whiskey in it than a bottle of Bailey’s.

Let’s put it this way, when A Farm Guy went to sample it, he was not expecting how full the flavor was, and loved it. Have fun with it, take it camping, sit by a fire with it, take it skiing, and gift, gift, gift it!

Out of one bottle (750 ml bottle) of Jameson Irish Whiskey (or any Irish Whiskey) made 1 quart, 1 pint, and 2 1/2 pints; and spared 2 shots for the person making it.

Ingredients:

1⅔ cups good Irish whiskey
1 cup heavy cream
1 (14-ounce) can fat free sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons Hershey’s chocolate syrup
2 tsp pure vanilla extract
2 tbsp cold coffee

Instructions:

-Place all of the ingredients in an immersion blender or normal blender and mix on high speed for 20 seconds.

-Transfer the mixture to an airtight container. I use mason jars when gifting but for our home I will use an air tight ‘fancy’ bottle.

-You store it in the fridge for up to two months, and just be sure to shake well before using.
