Linkbox 9000i - how do you input server info?

I bought a new 9000i - downloaded the V103 file from the site here - and then installed it through USB.

How do you enter the URL+port+DecKeys+UserID &PW for a private IKS server and how do you enter a URL for a private IPTV server?

A post here said to go to the Tool menu and then enter 8282 - but that did nothting for me.

once you setup the Satellites..
then you are ready to setup the P$ that you might have gotten..
With Menu Open.. enter 8282 on your remote and see if you see a small window that says Hidden Menu message if not.. hit 8282 again until you do see Hidden Menu message..
That will give you access to the P$ location..
I think it is.. on first access to the PS
you open it up and arrow up 3 times to get to Network Settings..
Check each line. Check each Line.. Check each line.. before exiting out.. to make sure it is correct.. once you exit out you will not see it again.. so make sure it is exactly as was given to you
When done.. exit out and save when asked..
Go back in.. and select APPPLY.. I think it is on the Linkbox.. or it will be Connect. and see if it will connect to the P$..

I setup up and scanned the channels for Bell 91 and I get the free channel OK and the rest scrambled.

When I press the [MENU] button I see the Channels - Installation - System - Tools and Apps icons
I tried pressing 8282 but it never opened a hidden menu.

check system info ,make sure you have a software file loaded Did you factory set after loading file?
Cant help much as I dont know the rcvr

I downloaded the V103 file from the site here and put it on a stick and installed it. This was the V1.0.3 file dated Aug 4/15.
I did a Factory reset after updating it and then installed the satellite and did the scan.
When I go to the Menu then under Tools and Information it shows the Main Code as V1.0.3 dated Aug 4/15.

Thanks for the help nobodyspecial - maybe somebody here has one of these boxes and will chime in.

the factory file does not have Private Server option

simple way to upgrade to latest Factory file in use Upgrade by Network
go to Menu/Tools/Upgrade by Network
change the Upgrade Mode (arrow over) to All Code + Boot
and click Start
reboot receiver when finished
You will need the latest 3dr party file Net90 Plus_09Nov2015_V742 to get the P$ option
reboot receiver after loading
you can now use the 8282 optin to see hidden menu
or use the F2 key on remote/password 0000

Thanks 041joy - that did it.
Last night I had tried updating to v1.1.1 over the network but I still was not getting the hidden message.

After I installed the Net90 Plus_09Nov2015_V742 I was able to get to the hidden menu.
Maybe somebody should make a note in the file section that this file is needed to get the hidden menu with the 9000i.

The principle works the same on all/most IKS boxes jedi. You have to load a third party file to it in order to "open" it so that you can get additional screen(s) to input server information etc.
