After loading file are you using on screen reboot option or turning off receiver with remote?Try the remote way.Do you have the r27 file in receiver and trying trying to load the r27 tp file?

Both threads are pertaining to the same issue indirectly. As for channels not showing up can you explain further? Are they simply not showing up at all or is the description there but blank channel? Have you verified your dish is properly aligned and has moved? Are your lnb's aligned and working properly? These are just a few things to look at as well.

my dish signal is 99% when i tried to load the tp file the way it says to do it i deleted all my channels then did factory restore tried to load tp file would not load i renamed it tried that wouldnt reload i tried reboot with remote nothing tried switch at back of reciever still wouldnt load so then i reloaded my setting and changed tp settings and then did scan of channels and i got channels on reciever but lots of them that were there before dont show up like one time ill have 182 and 120 then the next time i dont and its happening with lots of channels reciever worked great before all changes so im not sure what im doing wrong hope this helps explain my problems and when reciever is on and showing channels i only get a few channels the others say no service

I'm not trying to hijack this thread, but I've come back to FTA after several years of being out. I recently signed up and got most SD channels in 200-300 range to work. However, NOT ONE HD channel works, except for 9421, which is OPEN all the time.
I was told that this was caused by a recent ECM, though I have not read anywhere about that.
Yes, I did reset to factory and updated my Nuvenio with the latest TP list bin and rescanned all birds.
Please advise.

An update on my initial problem: I have two Nuvenios. I was able to make the second one work, so I figured I was messing up somewhere. I tried updating the TP list onto the first one the way I had done it on the second one and it did work, with some minor hiccups...
Caveat for those who use splitters to feed two boxes from one coax: DON'T! On the first box, although the TP list got updated ok the second time around, I wasn't receiving all the HD channels as on the other box. Upon closer inspection I noticed I was using a splitter I had installed years ago to feed both the Nuvenio and a Nova, from the same coax. As soon as I removed the splitter the signal got much stronger and I was able to get all HD channels. Live and learn!
Thanks to all mods and contributors who keep this site updated with their findings and know-how, and provide us with new files for us to use and thus continue thriving on FTA!
