I asked my reseller today about being down on BEV NPIKS and he sent me this email
i got this email from server owner...
i had to kill this login. not sure what he is up to but he is making sids drop and we cant have that. and there is also something weird about the way his ip resolves.
sorry bud, you cant screw around with these guys. they will catch ya
WTF ?? !!! I'm not up to anything. I just hook up on a Prosat HD the way I have for the last month. No changes. No problems with any other IKS services. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on or am I just dealing with crooks out to stiff me for two months of my subscription?

I tried another IKS and the trouble continued. My Prosat HD seems intent on using its dn connection to vandalize bev servers. It doesn't help to reboot everything, factory reset, reload all of the software and rescan. Next step has to be to download all new copies of its software and if that doesn't work it guess it has to be buggy software or a hardware problem. I never did like the darned thing but the guy I bought it from has a strict no refund policy. Can modems or routers be hacked?

A good hacker can access pretty much anything on the web. Usually a router is the main thing to compromise opening the door to whatever he wants. In order to reduce the risk running a firewall and setting up a strong password will aid in the prevention of such. It is also recommended to frequently change your login and password on your router.
The odds that a hacker has access to your router is slim but I would still do what I mentioned.
You may also try running Malewarebytes to check and get rid of any possible Malewarebytes that may be sending out bad info from your computer. Also make sure you only one server on your Prosat is running at a time. If watching the north on a connected server, disable all the others to see if that helps.
As mentioned a flag to the server is the same user/IP info coming from more than one source which in turn will lead them to disabling the account. Have your reseller look into the possibility of this with the server he is dealing with.

you are not booted permanently...this time. we had to temporarily disable your login until your reseller was able to contact you and find out why your unit was acting strange. we are not out to rip anyone off.
in order to maintain high quality service we monitor our system 24/7 to ensure low latency and sometimes it is necessary to disable the odd login as a last resort if it is behaving strangely. when this happens we always notify the reseller and attempt to make contact with the client to resolve the issue.
