I prefer playing with them myself. They are basically working on a commission type of thing so the longer you can keep them on the phone the more money they are losing. I also find it fun to put them on speakerphone and record the conversation and then toss it up on social media to share the laughs.

I think y best yet was the evening one called with a heavy Indian accent and I kept pushing numbers on the phone. He asked me if I was doing that and I said yeah I was trying to figure out which button to press to get English. Converation went downhill after that ;)

When I get calls claiming I won a free Disneyland Vacation,Cruise or whatever,I tell them its not for me.They ask why and I tell them I have a Criminal Record and can't cross the Border. It ends right there and then.
However I was had on the Internet about 6 Months ago. Some pop up window saying that Apple were giving away Iphones with this draw to promote there Product. You had people testifying they won an Iphone with this $1 dollar draw from Apple.(I had a few drinks before)
Anyhow,I said what the hell, its only a buck so I entered my Credit card no.Well within all the Iphone draw rules and regulation that I agreed to in small writing that I did not take the time reading, there was also a Subscription to an overseas Music Company. They started ripping money left and right from my Credit card.Cancelled the card and managed to get some money back with Credit Card Help. Now i don't drink and buy anymore!
By the way i don't have a Criminal record for those wondering.lol

Now THAT'S funny!

I always ask them if I can think it over.I then ask for their home number so I can call them later with my decision. You know how that ends up...lol

If it looks or sounds to good to be true it probably is a scam.
I just leave them talking to themselves and walk away.

When I look at the caller id and it's not a local number, I don't say hello when I answer, I answer like this,
=County Morgue, you Kill em we chill em= they never say a word, they just hang up, I don't know why, LOL.

I put my number on the do not call list. That eliminates most of them. If that doesn't work I have google voice numbers that I can manually go in and block certain numbers and I believe there is a prompt that says its disconnected.
