any way to test the ls module

abacab posted something interesting. i am missing several channels on both 110 and 119. i do get channels and by his post, he stated that his ls module may have been bad and as a result he was loosing channels. my set up would be the linkbox 9000i local with a module and 2 12250 lnbs. had all the channels before last year with a sonicview 360 and ihub. i do get channels like 121 but not 120 or 122. also i get 192 and 193 but not 200. newest files installed. after each install turned off at back for 10 seconds before loading next file followed by power off again. any way to test the ls module?

You stated that you have the "newest" files installed:does that mean the latest correct transponder data as well???

the two files i have are local_15Oct2015_V111 (Factory) Net90 Plus_09Nov2015_V742. as for the latest correct transponder data, i know nothing about that. i thought that info was on the first two files. also i did add a few transponders and still got no channels from them

should i not have installed 742 file?
also re scanned still missing channels

i am missing many. most on 119. here is a quick run down from 100 to 200.

Confirm your receiver has the latest factory file installed
-To check version, on the controller press Menu>Tools>Information
-If the newest version is not installed you will need to load the newest file

Loading factory file
-Download file
-Unzip and install on clean USB drive
-Install USB into front or back USB port on the receiver
-Go into Menu>Tools>Upgrade by USB
Select the file using arrow right/left on the upgrade file line
Arrow down to upgrade mode, arrow right/left until you get to All Code+Boot Code
Arrow down to start and press OK
-After the upgrade is finshed and the box has rebooted itself go into Menu>Tools>Factory Setting. Select Yes to coninue
When finished, power down the receiver at back switch count to 10 and power back on


Loading a 3rd party file
-Follow the exact instructions posted above using the 3rd party file

so after i install the file i go to reset to factory settings, enter the password and after it restarts i turn the master switch off for 10 secs? after i upgrade i reset back to factory settings? i know i said it twice

yes........must be done after each file upgrade..

you are short on ech14...never heard of a mod jus dropping channels..normally they jus pooch..jmo..

well my lnbs are 11250 universals and i have tried 2 disquics switches and a sw21 switch from disch. i have ordered a new 4x1 disq as well

changed lnb on 14 and rescanning

replaced the lnb and now found 583 on echo 14. time to buy some more back ups
