I am an active member of Ebay for many years.Buying and Selling.Selling on Ebay is a complete Nightmare.Ebay has a complete 45 day return policy which the Seller needs to pay shipping to and from plus a total refund. As soon as a Buyer files a dispute for a defective item or not as described or whatever else,Ebay will freeze the money asset from his Paypal account until they rule in the favor of the Buyer.Selling the item with ''no refunds'' or ''As Is for Parts'' has absolutely no impact!Ebay will rule in the Buyers favor all the time.I have lost a dozen times and never won. From the dozen times I have lost perhaps one forth are dumb people would can not operate the thing properly.Another forth are from people that got the item ''free or for less once elsewhere'' or before they got the item from Ebay, another forth are scammers that will switch something or the complete item and the last forth are truly defective products.I mostly sell Electronic devices.
I will say on the other hand that as a Buyer you are in very very good hands as long as the seller has a good rating with a good number of sales to his credit.I will sadly also say the same if you are a scammer!
