#15: Major Lazor & DJ Snake - Lean On (feat. MØ)

Genre: Electronic/Dance Shot in Maharashtra, India, this music video has some of the most gorgeous scenery and settings on this list. Also, the backup dancers are choreographed and costumed very well. Sadly, the reason this video is not lower on the list is because of the strange and sloppy dancing that MØ and the other artists are doing throughout. They stand out in a way that hurts the overall look of the video. This video is one of the most viewed music videos on youtube and for good reason.

#14: Chvrches - Empty Threat

Goths at a waterpark. This concept could have gone SO wrong but for some reason it just works. There is a certain charm that this video has and the visuals accompany the music remarkably well.

#12: Action Bronson - Actin Crazy

Genre: Hip-Hop This is another instance of a simple video that represents the artist in a funny and creative way. By the time your done watching this video, you have a very clear understanding of who Action Bronson is. I mean, only Action would take a cereal break in the middle of his own music video.

#10: The Vaccines - Give me a Sign

Genre: Indie Rock Another funny video. This one is shot in a 80's mockumentary-style and follows the fictional and dysfunctional glam-rock band WOOD! It's very similar to the 1984 mockumentary film "This is Spinal Tap".

#9: Young Fathers - Shame
Genre: Experimental Hip-Hop This music video is extremely simple and it works because the song itself is also very simple. This video has a lot of charm and emotion and is an excellent example of how visual and audio can correspond and compliment each other.

#8: Data - Don't Sing (feat. Benny Sings)

Genre: Electronic/Pop This video went viral on Reddit a couple months ago and for good reason. Not only is it beautifully shot and acted, but it also has an underlying message and meaning that corresponds with the music in an excellent way. Likewise, the final climax and reveal was an extremely smart and interesting idea that was handled incredibly well.

#7: Charli XCX - Famous

Genre: Electropop This video was directed by Eric Wareheim, from Adult Swim's "Tim and Eric Awesome Show" and his style and influence can be seen throughout. What starts out as a bubbly and stereotypical video about modern pop culture and technology slowly becomes a dark and disturbing satire with some pretty wild visuals. hxxps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f5A4DnGtis

#6: Alt-J - Pusher

Genre: Art Pop This music video is another simple concept that has been beautifully shot. The main actor shows so much emotion throughout, and the steady rotation of the camera goes well with the slow and somberness of the music.
