It was so much fun..............our idiot parents couldn`t stand it and had to come out to help us build "better ones"

used to have a plastic rectangular box with a handle that was used to make blocks of snow...lol

Didn`t have them when I was a kid........my dad gave me a pail and told me to turn it upside down. LOL

also lived in a crescent and they would bulldoze all the snow on centre island
we would make an igloo out of it
to this day not sure why it never caved in...lol

Yeah????.......LMFAO...I`m 65 so I was done building snow forts by 15 when I discovered what the back seat of a car was for

That would have been neat to be on the middle of a crescent......you could have made a turret and nailed everybody.

perfect...................we used to go by the side of the road and make slush balls for the kids coming home from school.

we called it boot hitching...lol... once I fell off(a sand patch bled out from a driveway so I endoed) as I slid I saw a school bus coming from the opposite direction... the road was banked into on coming traffic so I drug my outer arm & stopped on the double yellow line.... those chains are really loud up close...lol

We called it "shaggin"...town bus was the best, as long as it had high exhaust exit.

We used to use the milk truck.......till my dad caught me.

Dad showed me how to oil the toboggan bottom with wheel bearing grease......that sucker flew!

Never find any of that now as "it's too dangerous!" for crying out loud. That is what made growing up fun!!!! It is really too bad for the kids today.

Yep....like so many things, it was all fun until the grown ups stuck their nose into our business and told us how we were going to have fun.....their way.
