Exactly Bucko, I knew if the defense played as they did on the AFC championship game they would take it... They did.. Peyton Manning was not a factor at all... The defense won it for him... Congrats to the Broncos.. Now my hero John Elway has another one... Lol..

Yep......Manning was indeed a non factor.....he just didn`t make the "big mistake" that the Panthers did repeatedly all at the wrong times. Of course the defense of the Broncos had something to say about it because most of those mistakes were forced. Myself, I thought Newton`s ability to run the ball would have made their offense a little more viable but he threw the ball high of open receivers at several key times in the game. Turnovers, forced or not were the deciding factor for sure. Great game right down to the last couple minutes.

Yeah, Mr Showboat turned into a wimp when he pulled up on recovering his own fumble. Carolina`s defense played well enough to win if not for the turnovers by the offense.

When the going gets tough.... His attitude brought him down in my eye's and I am sure many others!!
There is a winner and loser in a game but you can lose with class!!

Then Newton should be a genius having had only one lesson...

You must remember that Newton is only 26 years old and in today's society that's equivalent to a 16 year old. Also being a coddled football player for all his life, that's the equivalent of a 12 year old :) so with this in mind his antics both during the season and after the Super Bowl are not surprising. Maybe when he's Manning's age (40) he'll be mature enough to win or lose with class.
