Hi everyone,
I am having trouble setting up 118.8 and 119 with a Dreamlink T5 receiver. 110 has been setup successfully and it works fine.

My Dish Settings are as follows:

Satellite: 118.8
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
LNB Frequency: 10750 ( I get a lock only if I were to select 10050 or 10000) Any other values, I do not get any lock
LNB 22KHZ: OFF
DISEqC SW 1.0: 1
DISEqC SW 1.1: OFF
Legacy SW: OFF

Issue: I get a lock on 118.8 and on the top right-hand corner I see 119 with a frequency of 10050 or 10000. I had to go through all the 118.8 Transponders and change the Symbol Rate from 20.000MS/s to 21.500 MS/S and Transmission from DBBS QPSK to Turbo 8PSK. Once I do that I get amazing signal and quality. However, after scanning, I do not see any 118.8 channels in my channel list even though I have tried selecting all Satellites and Echostar 119 only. As per the website
http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/Dish-USA-119W.html Symbol Rate is still 20.000 MS/s. I am not sure whether or not I should be changing them at all but if I don't then I don't get any blue signal or quality. Also, I have manually scanned individual TPs which were successful but I don't see any of those channels in the list.

Questions: I)Why is my Circular LNB not picking up 118.8 any signal or quality with a Frequency of 10750?
II) What can be done to fix this issue and why I can't see any of the channels that were successfully scanned?

Satellite: 119
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
LNB Frequency: 10750
LNB 22KHZ: OFF
DISEqC SW 1.0: 1
DISEqC SW 1.1: OFF
Legacy SW: OFF

Issue: Both Signal and Quality are above 90% and I get a lock on the top right-hand corner with 119 on the top. The automatic scan was successful. However, I do not see any of those channels in the list even though I have selected both "All Satellites" and "Echostar 119" only. Please note that all the TPs of the 119 have updated Symbol Rate of 21.500 MS/s and Transmission is set to Turbo 8PSK by default and I get strong blue signal and quality.

Question: Why I can't see any of the channels that were successfully scanned?

Once again thank you very much for your valuable suggestions and insights.

try using universal for lnb type instead of single Also 118s symbol rate is 20000 not 21500 Only 110 and 119 changed If you loaded the latest file there is no need to change any tp info

Regarding whether or not the channels come in are you connected to server?
Does it say connected with a number in brackets when you go to network?

I have tried switching it to Universal last night but I still was not able to get any signal. I will give it a try again and also I will try switching the port to a different one. Regarding the Symbol rate, I should not have changed it to 21.500 MS/s but I was just playing around with it to see if I get any signal and quality on 20.000 MS/s.

I am connected to server and it shows (3). Please note that 110 is working fine without any issue.

i would just put in the settings for 118 and 119 and scan Delete all channels first

Not sure what one, because we are not there to see, but when you are dialing in a sat and you get a quality reading the lock is on a different satellite than the one your trying to get. You may have one of two problems or both. Your settings for the satellite are incorrect, like Nobodyspecial pointed out, potentially wrong LNB type, or your dish may not be aimed properly or both.

As dells mentioned here, the sat that you are pointing at and locked on as mentioned is the one you see in the upper right corner, you may need to tweak your dish to get 118.8 sighted and locked on. If I was to guess this would be where I would start to look. You may want to see if you can even get 118.8 eliminate the others from the mix and only try to sight 118.8 then if you can get it add the others to see if they will come in. What are you using to tune in the sat? what type of meter do you have?

118.8 and 119 issue: RESOLVED !!!
I have been busy lately and didn't get a chance to play around with the settings of the dish.
For some reason, somewhere in one of the forums, someone mentioned that he was having similar issues as mine and he simply changed the Polarity of the Manual Scan Settings for 118.8 Sat from Horizontal to Veritical or vice versa. Today, I have done exactly the same thing and guess what? I started getting signals and qualities on 118.8. Initially, I did not have any issues with 110 or 119 since I was able to get lock on both. It sounds simple but I was trying to follow the TP settings from the below site:
http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/Dish-USA-119W.html
I have always trusted this site for the TP settings and oddly enough Horizontal was Vertical and Veritical was Horizontal. Voila !
Please note that in that URL above (Right= Veritical and Left=Horizonta usually).

My dish is up and running and I happy ! Hope it helps out other team members in this forum. Thank you everyone for shring your thoughts ! My next plan is to setup 129 so that I can catch al the HD channels as well

@pgjeepster: Thanks for you suggestion. It appears that the dish alignment was fine. I already had those dish antennas 110, 118.8 and 119 installed and they were working fine up until last August/September in 2015 when SD receivers stopped working. Then I was waiting basically to find out which receiver was the most popular and whether or not the review was good. Then finally I could not decide as to if I should go with IPTV or Satelitte dish. Finally after considering both options, I decided to go with conventional Satellite Dish since the qualities in my opionin are much better than the IPTV or at least the one that I have used. Then I got the receiver back in December but it was stuck in a different city and finally got someone to ship it out. Hence it took me all this time to transition into the new Dreamlink HD receiver !

My Current Dish Settings ( Up and Running):
Satellite: 110.0 Echostar 10/11
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
LNB Frequency: 11250
LNB 22KHZ: OFF
DISEqC SW 1.0: 4
DISEqC SW 1.1: OFF
Legacy SW: OFF

Satellite: 118.8 Anik F3
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
LNB Frequency: 10750
LNB 22KHZ: OFF
DISEqC SW 1.0: 1
DISEqC SW 1.1: OFF
Legacy SW: OFF

Satellite: 119 Echostar 14
LNB Power: ON
LNB Type: Single
LNB Frequency: 10750
LNB 22KHZ: OFF
DISEqC SW 1.0: 1
DISEqC SW 1.1: OFF
Legacy SW: OFF
