cant connect to server

my question is this if I had a defective ls500 module would that stop me from being able to connect to my server and is there a way I can check to c if it is good before ordering a new one was working fine a month ago when I went to work got home and had nothing

have you tried rebooting router modem stb?

No it would not affect connecting to your server. You need to troubleshoot the connection issue. Reboot your router and modem and box go into the menu and make sure your box is receiving signal from router and if you are try to connect to your server again. If you can't then contact your reseller.
