Hi All,
Got a question and hope someone can send me in the right directing.
Been using Jynxbox for awhile but bought a azfox hd premium to try. It seem like it's looped. So after searching the internet and the forums here referencing unit seem I can't finding nothing.
What I do have on the azfox is that it.
loader is V 1.2.20 which is similar to a jynxbox loader
hardware is V 1.04
firmware is V 1.1.26

Looking to even use jynxbox hardware that will work.
Should I look for even jynxbox V16 bin?
All that can happen is I'll kill it. Doesn't matter as it's no good to me right now.

Thanks
Buzzie

What do you mean seems like it is looped? What does the front display say? How/what did you do when you first hooked up the unit?
This is not a known unit so before messing with it let's figure out how you got to this in the first place. You don't just just start throwing another units software on it unless you absolutely can't get anywhere.
What model azfox is it?

Light turn on then shut off continually. Will not get passed boot up. It started and even reboots don't help. Seem to be similar to a jynxbox hardware what I have found . But can't seem to find any bins for it. If it not going to work it is a try to see if another bin might be functional with it.

Sounds like either something is not hooked up properly or unit is faulty. If it is a new unit simply return it as defective. I can find files for other models for IKS but not for that model which tells me it can be used as a true FTA unit only but since you are having these issues being a new unit I would return it.

Found this information on it. It seem to be an IKS receiver. Almost look like a jynxbox information that why was think that there bin might work. For the price to return might as well try bins. LOL. If I find anything on it will post.
Thanks for the help anubis

This is the first release of the iSmart X10. Send me a PM so I can send you the RS232 recovery tool and the latest bin. You will need a RS232 null cable plus an old computer with Com Port to fix your unit

Thanks CPR43

Loaded file and rebooted. Started and said no channels. It's ALIVE . Used my usb to r232 to program the iSmart file. Worked good.
Will do a scan after.
Sorry for the late reply. Been busy and away working. Finally had time to sit down and try.
