Alexis DeJoria ended a 33-race long winless streak on Sunday at the Denso Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals at The Strip in Las Vegas.

The Funny Car driver squared off against her Kalitta Racing teammate Del Worsham in the final, and edged him out in a photo-finish. DeJoria also defeated John Force, Robert Hight and Tommy Johnson Jr. en route to the final. It was DeJoria’s fourth career win.

Teammates also met in the Pro Stock final in the form of KB Racing, but the race was over as soon as it began when Bo Butner went while the light was still red.

Jason Line took the win, which made up for his loss on Saturday in the K&N Horsepower Challenge to Greg Anderson. Line also ended the days for Matt Hartford, Chris McGaha and Erica Enders - who had made it to the Semis after failing to advance out of the first round eliminations in the first three races of the season.

In Top Fuel, it was redemption for Antron Brown who took the victory after having failed to advance any further than the round 2 eliminations in the opening three rounds of the season. Antron Brown met underdog Troy Buff in the final, who had taken upset wins against Brittany Force and Richie Crampton. Antron Brown defeated Scott Palmer, Leah Pritchett and Dave Connolly en route to the final.

NHRA now takes a three week break before reconvening in Charlotte, N.C. for the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.
