power supply

i haven't used the jynxbox lite in awhile and seem to have misplaced the power supply that came with the jynx lite,on the bottom of the case it has power DC 12V 2A and i can only find a power supply 12V 3.0 will the 3.0 power supply do anything to the jynxbox if i use the 12v 3.0 instead of 12v 2a or do i have to get one that is 12v 2a,any help would be appreciated,

12 volts DC at 2 amps or 3 amps the box will only use what DC current (amperage) it needs to run.....As long as it's not under 2 amps rating on the power supply.
