T5 external hard drive playback

just got a t5, and have WD external portable hard drive, but it won't playback my movies? does it have to be fat 32 format?

Yes it does, for sure, I had an issue with that as well, if you search the posts not long ago you will see what I did to solve the issue, since the hard drive was to large to format in windows I had to use third party software to format in fat 32 , now it works perfectly my post is about 12 posts down from this 1 and titled pvr functions

anytime you format you lose the data
