My remote was driving me crazy. Having to repeatedly press and wave the darn thing till it kicked in. Then I saw that "The Source" is having a sale on Harmony remotes til July 6. I then remembered that I had several universal remotes kicking around. Sure enough, I found some of the guides and checked for an 8K, now works like a charm. May still get one of the harmonies from The Source.
The universal remote I have was sourced from Hypermegasat a few years back for less than $20
