Stuck On Boot red light

Hey guys or Mods
Recently I just load a file and after that when I turn the Jynx on the boot light stay on. I have read in the forum to fix this by using the serial cable connect to the pc using the loader. Hower the loader in here does not have a browse button to select the original factory file. However I bought a serial cable to USB converter and still not reading the file. Either "wrong file' or not reading the USB. Any one have the same issue on Stuck on Boot after loading a file which I shouldnt read if the file have been tested.
Please Help to get my Jynx running.
PS. is there certain serial cable to USB that work since it so hard to have a serial connection on the back of the PC nowadays.

a serial/null modem cable is also known as a crossover cable... NOT a Straight Cable... just a heads up... All Jynx are clones except V1 & V2... some V3s are not clones but its better to be safe than sorry as you know... the newer clones are coming out preloaded w/their own files... do not load anything on these... what version do you have?

I am pretty sure mine is ori Jynx V2 when it released and got from Leesat. Like I said in my thread I load a file as I thought it the latest file but after that when I switch power on the back of the Jynx the boot light indicate and display BOOT so I order USB to serial cable but still not recognize the file using loader. I didnt buy the male/female serial cable because there is no serial port on the back of the desktop so I got the USB so not sure the cable is the same as male/female serial cable. Any suggestion to get my Jynx alive. The loader Erom not sure why it doesnt have the Browse button so you can select a file from the USB drive.

Turn off your fire wall and load the driver for your new cable.

I have tried but still saying can not open serial port. It got to be the USB to serial cable. I rather use the male/female str8 thru cable but there are no serial port in the back of the PC.

You need a Null Cable, female/female. Go into device manager and see if the USB to Serial cable is under Ports. Make sure it is listed as Com 1 or 2. Any higher and it likely won't be recognized by the program - make sure the program is set to the same Com in the settings.

As I mentioned before... a STRAIGHT thru cable will NOT work... jeldf is correct... you need a Null modem/Crossover cable(& adapter if you have no port for it on your computer)...
