I'm currently running NFPS (IKS Private) but dealing with some buffering issues, mostly SD streams, etc, as a result I'm looking for a switch.

Some background info, I'm not using a standard IPTV box, I'm running Kodi off a Minix Box.

I've just been comparing IPGuys, IPTVExpress and recently IPTVSubs has come into the mix. There's a lot of options out there with pretty similar channel lineups which makes it really difficult to choose.

Has anyone tried any of these and could give their opinion?

I see a lot of resellers but is there any way to get it from the source (IPGuys and IPTVExpress specifically)?

As an aside:
Some people has stated that an IPTV set top box performs better than an Android running Kodi. Assuming that the standard Android box is more powerful than some of these IPTV set top boxes, why is this the case? Is it the emulators themselves that are the bottleneck?

Wondering the same sort of things. Looking forward to hearing some input.

Thanks in advance!

Buffering issues can come for many different reasons and low internet speed is only one of those reasons. There are threads here at Satfix that explain what causes buffering problems and no matter what the 'providers' tell you, you will always have some buffering problems at one time or another with the live tv streams.

Getting an Iptv specific box won't solve your buffering issues. Nfps has constant buffering issues. Get a really good android box and you will be good. My suggestion is an nvidia shield tv. You will definately pay more; however you wont need to update this for a very long time. Runs smooth on any iptv server, and kodi runs lightning fast.

IPTV guys and IPtv Express both have issues. None of them have true HD. Both have constant freezing and both have lots of channels that don't work. So when looking at an advertised channel list...take them with a grain of salt as many of those channels don't work or they have freezing issues. Both have channels that are up constantly and work perfectly. If you want U.S. Channels go with IP guys. If you're looking for international channels (hindi or arabic) or if you're into a lot of soccer then go with IPTV Express. Express has a lot of euro soccer channels in HD that are all up without freezing. Just remember, whatever service you go with they will always have downtime during server upgrades and they will always have freezing at times. It's just part of the game. For what you get, both services are great.

You seem to like that nvidia shield a lot - so I may have to try it.
It seems like a lot of money and I'm not sure if it is worth it for a guy like me. I don't have any problem using a MAG or Avov or Roku for the stuff I watch. My experience has been that most people don't have a problem watching any of the IPTV Video on Demand or the recorded movies on Kodi with these type of boxes - the links either work or they don't - I never seem to have buffering issues. The big problem I see is getting live TV channels to work properly and so far I haven't seen any advantage in buying an expensive box loaded with lots of memory and an octa core processor.

You can't beat IKS satellite for picture quality - (compared to IPTV) - it definitely wins hands down. But as you said some of the IPTV services have some very good HD/UHD/4K channels - they just have to work on their stability.
Both of the services you mentioned seem to be the top dogs - but I see a lot of new services showing up. Some may be just a different name for those two services - we'll just have to wait and see as more guys try them.
