So many of my friends here were so thoughtful and kind to us after the untimely passing of Sawyer (our Lab puppy) I thought it would be nice to introduce the newest member of our family.....Bear, a chocolate Lab.
This is Bear at 3/4 weeks old.....we pick him up in another 3 weeks.
You can see why we called the little tank Bear.

That`s my son and his GF by the way.........the dog is the one with the brown nose.

Don't worry about the cost of the food... just keep him away from the furniture legs... Lucy our chocolab is 10 years old now ... she weighs 92lbs... for the first two years she chewed on everything...lol

I`ve never had a chocolate but I`ve heard they are a little higher strung.......I`ve always owned either Blacks or Yellows blacks never chewed a thing and yellows just a couple moldings but not much. Thing is that there is most always someone at home so they don`t get that "alone time" for a furniture feast.....and I`m just guessing but I doubt that he`d do it 2X. LOL

LOL......my black used to zip thru my sliding door screen when my buddies were over playing pool every second Fri nite. Those idiots took turns after it got dark one of them would stand at the back door and yell......"LOOK A CAT" and thru the door Sam went. Then I had to put a 4' plastic lattice across the bottom and drill it into the door. LMAO

Well kids....we went and picked him up this weekend and stayed up at a buddy`s house in cottage country till last nite. My son re-named him Riggs (Lethal Weapon) so we are on no sleep for the last 3 days although last nite he was a lot better with the yapping and crying. Thankfully I`ve got handfuls of those foam ear plugs from construction sites.................
I`ll post some picks when Taylor puts them on my computer..........
