Total 4 channels : make any sense!!!!!!!!!!!

catch 494-498......400 & 401 last week and today

last month :14 hd channels and 493-494-495-496-498 until 4 days ago:NOW zero HD channels and 494-498 & 400 & 401.

i am connected to the server all the time.

my donation is good until may 05/14/16

i am here last seven years....never had a problem like this.

connect on 3.nfpsserver.tv (or 31.220.2.30)

How is your signal? Any trees fill in blocking your signal? Is your switch good? Are your lnbs ok? How's your cable? Are your settings what they should be? Are your sat tp's correct? Have you tried rebooting?

Signal /Q :100% on all channels i should receive : (SV8000HD) there is a orange bar :100 %........cable fine switch ok...it change sat like always.........yes i did reboot.......

tp's should be ok!!!!!!......signal is 0 when tp's are not right..........like i said never in 7 years i had that problem....

same set up for years..........is they are being some change recently or last 2 month?


i began to loose some ppv channels when i rescan only the 110 and have double # of channels

i change switch..........anyway...........i was zapping from sat110 to sat 129.........S/Q was going 80-100 during zapping......


i did a rescan of all sat: now getting ppv(502-503-504-505-506-508-508-509-510-511-512-526-527-528-529 (many same

films)) SD/HD with 110-129.........

plus 494+498 (XXX)and nothing 9410 to 9500 ( HD channels on 110& 129) except 9421 Velocity


+400& 401

take me 1 hour to check that all

all in all i catch 20 channels.........with high S/Q no hardware issue. ( cable, dish, switch) server always connected

weird..........it like when a ECM just some channels

Do you have another box you could try? If it works then you either have a setting issue or the box itself.

no..............i wonder why or what is the problem....can catch that or can not catch those channels? can not try many things my USB port dont work!!!!!!!!!!

are you sure that they can give me some channels because it is near the end since 1 MONTH!!!!!!!!!

Regardless of the service you should be getting more then 20 chs. A single transponder for the most part has close to 20. Think you said you have a SV8000 so if you go into the network settings and you are showing as connected then the code should be good and if not then you need to check to see if the code is active. If you are getting some channels and not others then it could very well be that they are just down at the moment and probably will come back up in time. There has been some down time on HD and adult as of late. I have seen some channels in the past be down for weeks before they come back on line. There has been times individual chs. are down and then there has been times that an entire tp could be down. Just part of the game.

i am ok for what you said and thank you........the thing is the HD channels ( less 5) are down since a month.........9410 to 9500 except for Velocity.(9421)

if i had 25 hd channels i would understand....and if i see the posts......no one have just 1 HD channels.

SV8000HD.........& like i said in previous post........my USB ports does not work anymore ( i would try something!!)

franky942, It sounds to me like you may have a faulty power board. If the LNB switch doesn't get enough power you will have problems. The USB going out made me remember. Check out the SV8000hd forums. There used to be tons of info on fixing them or check out ebay.... there is a guy who will fix it for about $30.

Going to throw this out there. From my playing around with a SV8000 so far I've scanned in around 538 on 110 and 528 on 119. Mind you this is a raw scan with a bunch of mirrors and a few scan able 9xxx plus NYL. Again raw scan with factory tp file and no modified tp file. This seems to be the case with two different modules...one red one green both being the single board. Some of the first SV8000's had a two piece module and I don't have one of those to play around with. Sometime later on I'll pay around with echo5 aka ciel 2 and see what I get.

This was also with manually adding in the new symbol rates for the tp's and scanning in the tp's one at a time with the network search turned on. Seems some of the non scan ables scan in that way for some reason. Also only shows quality (orange) and no signal (green) in the dish settings for some reason but scans in never the less. Of coarse all these stb's have there own little quirks when it come to scans and the Q&S meters. But then again with these units being about 8ys old I guess they have a right to have a few quirks and be a bit fickle lol.

im the same here only get hbo channels thats it nothing else

not the same issue as the op's...if u need help with ur problem it's best to start your own thread but if you were to read the forum your issue is most likely due to the recent ecm and only a few south channels are back, mostly low 300's explaining why you are only getting hbo channels
