Plz Help With North!!

hey guys anyone else having the same problems on sat 91w I have no signal on TPS that have (H) for polarity
it was working great about a week ago, I cant figure this out, any help I would really appreciate :)

U think it could be a switch? using 2 disqus and a sw21 switch or maybe the lnb is pooched I dunno

Run straight line from 91 lnb direct to box. If all is good then you have a switch issue. It would help if you posted what information nobodyspecial asked.

still having problems with the north I only get a signal on Transponders with Vertical Polarity.. I changed out the switch I bought 2 new lnbs. I ran lnb direct to T5 and still the same, the only thing I have not tried is tweaking the dish a bit, anyone think that would be the cause?

What kind of signal/strength numbers are you getting? could be you need to clear all the bins and reinstall and start over with a new scan on a fresh install of software?

week and a bit ago everyting was working 100%

the switches should be good to go but maybe a bad module? did you try another module?

highly doubt it's the module as everything works on the south as per the op,
what is your s/q on 91w and 82w? might need a tweak if signal is low

Remove the sw-21 and run the 91/82 directly to rcvr Turn off the sw21 in settings and test it

Herkimer I did I ran straight from lnb to T5 with out switches so my last thing to try is tweak the dish, ill do that tomorrow, ill fill u guys in

Swap the lnb too and test it

ya I did do that as well I bought 2 brand new ones, still made no difference, weird I only get signal with vertical, horizontal has red bars.. I don't get!!

After you tweek your dish a bit, if that doesn't help, you may want to try to check the connector ends, might be a bad ground at 1 of the ends. Have had this happen once or twice. Also hopefully you are using RG6 coax and not the cheap RG5

k I just noticed my south is screwy too only getting channels with Vertical Polarity as well, what the heck could be the cause of this, week and a half ago it was all working fine!! would a bad Hdmodual be the cause u think? I bought a laptop cooler for it a few days ago, cause this thing got real hot!! I wonder if it burnt somthn out!! man this T5 is only 2 months old!

Usually all channels would be gone when a module goes You need to check the voltage output on vertical and horizontal tps

I would open the box and see if the capacitors are bulged...they have a problem with heating and if it got real hot it could be the problem
