Master this and you will have access to thousands of channels around the world and never be at the mercy of a live tv addon!

1. What the hell is an M3U Playlist?
If your not familiar with m3u files, its a computer file format that contains multimedia playlists, these playlists can be music, tv channels amongst other things. An M3U file is a plain text file that specifies the locations of one or more media files. The file is saved with the "m3u" filename extension if the text is encoded in the local system's default non-Unicode encoding (e.g., a Windows codepage), or with the "m3u8" extension if the text is UTF-8 encoded. WTF? Simply put, it's a file that tells your media player (in this case Kodi) where to find the source or stream to play. By using the Simple PVR Client in Kodi, you can load these M3U files and get a ridiculous amount of live TV from basically everywhere in the world.

These m3u files/playlists are easy to find online and there is a very wide selection and they are all FREE!
How long do they last…? It can range from days to weeks and even months, but once you get into the mix of adding and searching where they are online, you’ll soon know where to get the best ones from.
We are going to show you today how to add these playlists to your Kodi device and you won’t believe how easy it is.

2. Select System.

3. Select Live TV

4. Choose General and then select Enable.

5. You will get a pop-up directing you to enable a PVR Client, scroll down and select pvr iptv simple client.

6. Select Enable

7. Select Configure.

8. Scroll down and select m3u path.

9. We now need to add a m3u playlist you’ve found online.

10. You will now to need to Reboot your device. Once you have, your screen will look like this and the PVR client will get to work loading your channels :-)

11. You’ll notice you have a TV section added to your home-screen. All that’s left to do is grab a beer, sit back and enjoy some awesome live TV on your device for free!!

13. Tips and Tricks

If you reboot your device and no channels load don’t panic, you will get a pop-up asking you to enable a PVR client, just press ok and then you’ll be re-directed to enable the PVR client we mentioned in the tutorial, you will require another reboot after this.

If your channels go down, it’s very easy to add another! Follow STEPS 6 / 7, reboot and your own your way again. You can only use 1 m3u playlist at one time along with 1 PVR client at a time.

Remember guy’s, these playlists are free and open to everyone. Maybe you can create your own list to share with the community?

On step 9. unless im mistaking you need to create a paste or use a url shortener
to get a m3u playlist to work in the pvr iptv simple client.

For an example here is todays CCloud`s m3u list in its raw form
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/jogojokodi/jogojokodi/master/lists/kodi.txt copy the link in the code bar to your browser to see the content.
The link will not work in the pvr unless you create a paste or use a url shortener. You can go to
pastebin.com and create a paste there and use the given link or go to
www.bit.ly.com
and shorten the link
http://bit.ly/1TgfPOsuse this shortened link in the pvr simple client configure tab.
Now if you use pastebin a list like CCloud`s is large so you will need a pro account if you want the entire list
and if you want to add more to CCloud`s list.

Not necessarily you can create an extra profile/profiles in kodi and use the m3u lists in each profile you created
in kodi the lists can be different.

Or you can just use Playlist Loader addon for multiple m3u lists.
