View Full Version : Nfusion FTA setup need help
Hi,
I'm trying to use my nfusion solaris to get AMC 9 and can't pick up ANY satellites. I have a 39" dish and reset the receiver and loaded the factory bins U48 and U17 but I can't pick anything up. Zip. No birds. I'm wondering if I have the right LNB--it's a standard KU band RF: 11.7- 12.75 GHz.
Please help, getting very frustrated!
From what I hear the NF's where never a good true FTA receiver.. One of the problems being a poor or non existing blind scan..
What would be a good true SD FTA receiver under $200? Main preference would be ease of use.

Best true fta receivers where the old coolsat 5000 and 6000 Can get them used for under $50..Ultra fast blind scans..

If you could get your hands on a coolsat 5k or 6k, if not, pansat 3500 are retailing for about $125- awesome for fta.
If your aiming for AMC 9 your obviously looking for the retro channels. There must be a way to insert the frequency manually:
11735
H
SR 4444
Hey Costa guess my two finger typing is faster than yours... LOL Glad we both agree on the choice of receiver... HAve a good one...

Based on your info, maybe you have a universal lnb, try setting the frequency of lo=9750 hi=10600 choosing universal lnb from menu of stb, or choose standard and set manually the freq to 10600 it works for me (to prevent scanning the low band of lnb not used on NA sats), hint provided by a good friend from sechelt . Or you could try on any circular sat, maybe you have one of those, also you can post an image of lnb for better help.
