Picture Size on TV?

Hope this is the place to ask this:
I have South and for example on channel 182 Discovery I can't get a Full picture.
I went to settings and video is setting is set to 16x9 and Full Screen but I have a space on the top and bottom of my TV screen. I have DTV and the same Discovery channel from that receiver is full screen. I even tried to change the picture size on my Samsung TV via the remote and can't get it that way either. I have other channels on the T5 with the same issue. I am giving up my DTV so would like to figure out why I don't have full screen on the T5.

Welcome to the club. I gave up years ago trying to sort this out with different STBs and TVs.

Same here with DL-T4, the best i could do was set it to 4x3 and Pan&Scan
which gave me somewhat of a full Pic. on TV, seems some Channels better than others.
Some Tvs have a option to Zoom 1-4 times Picture.
