they tried that on me years ago but I stayed on base & waited for the pitcher to take the mound... once he did I led off & the firstbaseman promtly tagged me to which I yelled balk...& I was awarded second base...lol

my last year of hardball I got beaned a couple times... the worst one caught the earpiece on my helmet... I still have tinnitis... lol ... the ringing wasnt the worst of it though... the compression split my lobe from top to bottom & I bled like a stuck pig.

Kids in the minors and down nowadays can hurl 95-100 mph with no problem..............their control is another story.
