I think that depends on what you are using to connect to internet,
What file is on it now?

The main software is HD20E

HD 2028 nocheck is best. You CAN use the original hd2028 if your hub isn't a generic one.

P.S...you will have to update transponders with either of those files.

There are only three that will work as of this post. Links to them are below and they are dependent on what version and or type of dongle one uses. First one is for use with an iHub that is still at version 2.2...unless someone finds a used one that is still at this version or has one that has not been used or updated in many years this file wouldn't be of use to most. Second one is for use with an original iHub, newlink and or svlan that has been updated to version 4.12. The third one is for use with a WIZ110SR that has been updated to version 4.12. Although the third one should work with any and all type dongles listed here including the SVpro. This file has been edited to not check for dongle type so it is basically universal.

All of these versions have been updated to work up to the year 2028.

Before I go changing anything let me just say that my receiver is working just fine with the files on it. The seller for the PS I have is saying that my receiver is sending bad corrupt data to the N server causing an auto ban on my service. It's happened 3 time in a short period of time, and he has had to turn my service back on. He is suggesting that my firmware is bad or not up to date.

No longer being in the foot print I can no longer lock any of the northern birds so I have no knowledge or have seen that issue come up . That being said there is no updates for these sv's and have not been for some years. As far as files go if you are at version 4.12 on either of the type of dongles for the sv the version you show...HD20E is the correct one. The last two files in my above post will both show as HD20E they just act in different ways so to speak depending on the dongle. Personally I wouldn't think reloading of the files would make a difference but anything is possible.

If you do decide to reload keep in mind to back up your sat file/ch.list unless you don't mind rescanning. And make sure to document your settings in case they get wiped. Also any time you load or reload files you always run a risk of a stb lock up the more one does it. Not saying it will or won't but it is always a possibility plus giving the age of these sv's.
