Just trying to get some ideas on what you guys use as far as Feed horn and LNB types.
and if using a servo how are you controlling the polarity, old analog receiver?? or stand along mover with servo control?

and do any of you using the ones that dont need a servo motor like the ones they sell on ebay?
Like these for example down below:

Titanium C1-PLL C-band Phase-Locked Loop LNBF with WiMax Filter FTA PLL LNB

DMS International LNB BSC421 Single C-Band LNBF Satellite HDTV Digital FTA LNB

Thanks :D

I'm using the gsky lnbf with motech stand alone positioner on my 8' solid for circular sats and psi lnbf with pansat 3500 ap positioner on my 10' mesh dish for all linear sats.

I got cheap chinese dual lnbf knockoff 17k nf for less than $20 into multi switch to feed 4 receiver (tbs6922se,chinese novatek, gsky v7,and spare for s9 or when testing new receiver) with inline amp on gsky v7 line to drop vertical polarity over voltage and moteck vbox 2, I use stand alone I dont use diseqc command. I stuck with dro lnbf, if I was going with pll I would go with chapparal dual C band feedhorn and pair of norsat pll lnb's and volt modded multi switch, but price prohibits. Some day.

I use the WS international "C"/"kU" band LNBF on my 10 footer and am quite happy with it.

It uses 22 KHz to switch between the bands.

Cheap 741 C/Ku on a mini bud. Chapperal scaler is all I use, but do have a conical scaler. No positioner. No servo.

Currently using the DMS International LNB BSC421 single and dual LNBF's but seem to be getting poor reception on both.
so might try the gsky lnbf or psi but those seem to be just like the BSC421 type.

Switched out my bsc422 last week for the gsky no name brand and sq improved dramatically.

ok I will look into that one, I know exactly who to order from. So they come in dual also like the bsc422?

and does it come with a feedhorn also? Got a pic of it you can post ?

No feed horn but scalar is included if your using a small dish. I will be testing another one out on my 10' mesh.

WSI ESX242 w/regular scaler in my 10 footer. Double output to a 4 X 4 which allow me up to 4 receivers

Looks a lot like what I have w/o the Ku band on the back end.
But the scaler is SO far back of the start of the waveguide on yours! Can't see how the scaler does much there. I would think you should make up a plate to attach LNB to supports and put the scaler out near the end of LNB opening.

Working great on all circular eastern sats.

I have the titanium lnb and it works pretty good. I just need a better receiver.

Running a 5150/5750 dual frequency lnb with good results. Some receivers will not blind scan properly however. It can scan both polarities using one voltage that you choose.

I got one of those 2 weeks ago, the Titanium C1-PLL C-band Phase-Locked Loop LNBF with WiMax Filter model and it rocks!!!

Alot better then the ones I've had in the past.
