Stb emulators?

Just trying to figure out stb emulators compared to running kodi with either an android box or lap top connected to tv via hdmi

Right now my 2 gig ram m8s plus with kodi, 15 to 20 mb speed gets quite a bit of buffering,,, i know it also has alot to do with service if private you are using

But would a emulator program work better with an andoid for this issue or does it matter weather kodi or stb emu

Also any benifits as well using stb for laptop as well

Also seems to be different emulators to use,,, is there one that is better than others

try STB emulator from Google play store...very easy to install and configure...thanks

I've used STB emulators only a few times - but I hear from some of my friends that use them that it is not the same experience as a dedicated box like a MAG254 if you are using a private server like IPGuys or IPTVExpress.
I don't think the guide is the same and I don't think the emulators don't offer the PVR feature or 7 hour catchup TV that IPGuys offers on some of their channels.
I hear that some people don't have serious freezing problems that some other friends are having with the emulators.

I have never tried comparing directly on a head to head test - that might be a good test for someone to try.
