Auto TP, Auto Roll, On or OFF?

Can someone help.
Is it best to leave them on or off?

Auto roll can't work anymore--that worked by decrypting CA EMM packets which you can't do.
Auto TP reads the packets (PAT) that tell the box what channels are on a TP--that is not something that is encrypted in the DVB-S type standards.
