A friend picked up this service this morning since being burned by recent events in the IKS world (he mentioned something about getting a lifetime sub with the now ended service but I didn't want to pry as it was a touchy subject). Since then he has been playing the new service with no issues and no freezing.
I would have heard him complain about it if that was the case, as my ears are ringing still from his bitching about the above mentioned event. Good thing we are good friends. So I would say so far it seems legit.

Jake, I would double and triple your settings given to you with whatever box you are using, and reboot. I know you said you already tried, but it wouldn't hurt to try again. Unfortunately most of these guys as it has been said in the past, they have real jobs and this is either a side job or hobby. They wont be like Robbers or Hell to have customer support 24/7. Just be patient.

I normally keep quiet on this site as I used to help and ask questions in the Jynxbox's forum but it's these quotes that makes need to say something.It's these comments that I'm sure make resellers just want to say "F" it I'm out, it's not worth my time and then walk away from it all. We get it Jake, you have an issue. We all can sympathize, but don't spoil it for others who are not having any issues. I just contacted my buddy and still no issues with this reseller and his service so you are a one off. If you managed to get a PM in at least where others are waiting for the inbox to be cleared out, I'm sure he will get back to you when he is available tonight. Redflags would have been dropped out there quicker than a fat kid on a smartie if everyone else had issues and Anubis would have banned him by now, but it's not the case.

It kills me to see continuance of new threads asking the same question over and over again. I guess people can't read anymore. Honestly I've seen it time and time again when a provider throws in the towel, gets busted and a few individuals just lose their mind that they lost money, don't have service anymore, and start to ask the same silly questions without taking a breather when all hell breaks loose. I can just sit back,eat popcorn and just refresh from time to time here to read the new threads or comments. It's actually entertaining.

Also comments about what they have to pay now and what they do or do not get in return. Someone isn't taking their time to shop around and see what would work for them, or what they are willing to sacrifice. It's supply and demand, that's the name of the game. And really in this game, if you aren't willing to take a chance that you are going to lose a few bills when things turn sour (and they sometimes will in the testing game), then you need to look at the legit ways of getting your tv fix. Legit corporations are just as honest *cough* as they can be here at times and that's not saying much, but at least they still have legislation to follow or else. And they should have 24/7 support.

If you can live without your testing tv for a few days until the dust settles, I'm sure you will find the price and compromises that will suit you best. This is not the hobby to dive in head first. Just be happy this time you just lost some funds (yes it sucks) instead of expecting a demand letter.

thanks and yes l have and with several boxes as well with the same results. it shows connected but not receiving code words from server. testing Nfusion HD with goo3 and flashed router. been working great for years. also tried the hostname instead of url but same thing connects but no cw coming back. If the ECM killed the cards - then you have to give them time to replace all of the receivers and cards that were hit.
You have to be careful when you replace receivers after an ECM hit. I am sure BEV is watching to see who is calling to add more receivers or change their receivers after the hit. Those guys that replace a lot of receivers on their account right after the hit will probably be flagged to watch for possible IKS activity.

It may be better just to open a brand new account and add new receivers and cards to it - then to replace receivers on an existing account.

BEV does ECMs? That's news to me. I've been using BEV for three years with various servers and I never heard of BEV being hit with an ECM. Oh well. Live and learn I guess. Hope we're back up and running soon :)

There are a ton of old receivers on the BEV side - someone told me they even have the old 3100 style and even the 3700 that Dishnet has not used for several years.
If you open an account with a new style receiver then I think you can add an old receiver without any problem. The older style receiver makes it so much easier to pull the keys to use for IKS.

It will probably be a week or two or three before they get back to the quality and variety everyone was used to. I'm sure they are being highly cautious in adding new subs and new accounts as b3v is on the lookout for IKS activity.

Until then, expect lots of freezing and missing channels. No biggie, just be patient.

I'm being realistic. If the people who run the server restore perfect service tonight then all the power to them. I'm just stating MY OPINION not to expect miracles like some seem to be looking for/expecting.
