Recurring Dreamlink T5 problem...

Hi...

I do a lot of recording with my Dreamlink T5's, and for the last couple of weeks almost everyday during a recording it freezes and this comes up...

"stb is hanged (26 0 1 0) press standby button for rebooting"? Everything is then frozen...

I reboot the receiver and everything is working again, until the next time... Sometimes in a couple of hours or the next day? I have 2 Dreamlink T5's and this is happening with both receivers?

I have 2 sets of sats, one receiver for each sat, and everything is fine with my PS, when this freeze happens the PS is still working fine...I'm using Bev North.

I've already done multiple file reloads with different bins and factory resets, etc... and I've tried switching the T5's to the other sats, unfortunately it didn't help with the problem. I've also bought new sat switches...

Does anyone have any info on this or what I can do to stop it?

Try another USB drive or reformat the drive with the STB.

I don't have one but it looks like you have tried everything else.

Agreed sounds like a HDD issue. If Benny's ideas don't work. Maybe hook HDD to a computer and do a scan on it. See if it detects any bad sectors on the disk.
