Many US citizens have receive a letter from D**h ( had to pay many thousands dollars) from december 2015 to june 2016.

not a SCAM. they take info from paypal and so on.

Can D**h sue citizens of other country than USA.

So far the letters have been going out only to people in the US I believe. Laws are different in other countries...

THANKS Jaxxman...........and btw you can not steal signal (programmation) that is not offer in Canada. maybe Ech*star ????

maybe B*V can sue!!!!!!!!! for CA. citizens

You're wrong, unauthorized decryption of signals is illegal in Canada.

But in Canada normally BEV will join either Dick or Dave in any law suit - claiming that by stealing Dish or DTV you are harming BEV's business and they want money for the damages.
Dish and DTV also claim that they have an obligation to protect their signal so that Canadians can not view it. If they don't protect it and you steal it from them and they do nothing about it then potentially BEV could sue them. So they want money from you because you are damaging their business relations with BEV.

In Canada, the decryption of signals that you are not authorized to is illegal regardless of source.
