Hi all
Recently I just relocate my dish and trying to get signal for Ciel 129 for two night now (5 hrs). I am able to pick up 119 and lock in and tweak the dish so many ways but only get 119 and 110. Cant get 129. I am only moving the dish mount on the ground and now move the dish to the roof. I able to get all but been trying to get 129 is a pain in the butt. Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks for reading.
This is for my DL T5 HD and SV8000 HD

What type of dish are you using? And which transponder for 129?

Dish HD dish has logo on it. TP for 129 can be 12517 or 12676 or 12647. Those are TP for 129 HD channels. Its like the 1000.2 LNB

The dish 1000 is a pain in the neck to re-align, the new mast or mount must be absolutely level vertically front to back and side to side, if off even a few degrees you will have trouble with 129 as it has a very funny and finicky foot print.

It must first be aligned to 119 (it's center satellite) and with as much "Q" as you can get out of it, ("S" does not matter if it was working before) then the Elevation and Azimuth adjustments are locked in place, you then very very very slowly adjust the Skew to align to 110 and 129, (Skew like turning a steering wheel left or right on a car)

But all this is mute if the mount is not vertical.

Try transponder 12516 for 129

If you're getting good signal on both 110 and 119, then I would think 129 should also come in unless there is an obstruction or your settings are wrong. If you're dish is a Dish 500+, then you'll have to add an lnb for 129.
Can you post a pic of the lnb?

Thx for your input. Even I have to replace the taller mast and move a few feet apart from the old spot mounted and still only captured 119 and 110 like 90% Q and lock in then tweak around all freakin night on a roof die trying to get 129. My roof is 30 degree slanted but I mount the mast and make sure it is 90 degree str8 up. It is a 1000.2 LNB that has built in switch. Only need one RG cable to get all 110, 119and 129. I also try 12516 too. Ussually when I get 119 and 110, I also get 129 too but this time I have no luck for 3 nights in a row. Any suggestions.

In my location a 30 degree roof would block the 129 signal. If the elevation for 129 is lower than 30 degrees then that may be the problem.
