If you’re having trouble with Kodi repositories showing up empty or add-ons within them not updating properly, you can probably fix the issue in a couple seconds by force refreshing the Kodi repository in question.
Step 1: Navigate to the “Settings” tab under the “SYSTEM” menu.
Step 2: Select the “Add-ons” tab from the left side menu bar.
Step 3: Choose the “Get Add-ons” function from the listing.
Step 4: Highlight the repository in question.
Step 5: Open the “Context Menu” then Press the “Check for updates” function.
Note: Depending on which device you’re using, you might need to either “Right Click”, or Hold the “Select Button” to open the context menu.
Step 6: Reopen the “Context Menu” then Press the “Force refresh” button this time.
Step 7: Reopen the repository in question, wait a few seconds and it should now display correctly.
Congratulations! If you experience the same issue in the future just repeat this process.
