Many of you may not have known buf. He hasn't been online to this site in many years.

Buford was someone I loved very much. We had a rocky relationship and it pains me to say that it did not end well, but he was never far from my thoughts.

Buf passed away the night before last.

It would make me happy to hear how those of you who knew him remember him.

I'm in shock. My sincerest condolences to you Hope and Buf's family. Buf and I met at the old talk forum and eventually started running the NFL Pool together. He will be dearly missed.

R.I.P. buford......My condolences to the family and also to you Hope. I had most of interaction with buf at HDTVtalk and I remember him as a guy who liked to dish it out but he could also take it. From many of his posts you got the impression that this was a guy who enjoyed life to the fullest. I always enjoyed it when he was online and when he left the site there was a huge loss. I know that his passing will leave a pain in your heart and I am sure that buf would want you to always remember him but I also think he would be disappointed if you do not move on with your own life. I wish you well. Take care.

I just got back from the boat, I had very limited internet service and could not reply to this shocking news till today.
